Strategy development workshops

Spot On carries out a variety of strategy development activities including workshops for companies that can help to define communications strategies and business strategies alike for years to come.

Strategy workshops are typically offsite, moderated processes bringing your management team together to examine the business from a fresh perspective, challenging assumptions and building ownership of the outcome by the team itself.

It has been our experience these workshops invariably lead to change in the business, from complete restructuring, through business strategy overhaul to defining new communications strategies, the workshops are also strong team building events. Although built on best practices, all workshops are tailor-made according to client needs.

Positioning Workshop

Aimed both at startups and organisations that want to challenge their current positioning and refresh their go-to-market proposition, the workshop comes as  part of a wider process that includes interviewing senior management team members regarding their view of the business, researching the market and competitors and leading up to a one-day offsite workshop. Workshops review company vision, mission, proposition, products and services, competition and current communications. Distilling the results of the workshop, Spot On’s consultants deliver an outcome package that articulates the company’s core proposition, positioning recommendations and statements and key messages for communications.

Digital Strategy Workshop

Aimed at established organisations wishing to evaluate the potential of digital platforms not only as a marketing tool but as a cross-organisational asset, these workshops combine an element of training and familiarisation with an examination of the business from an outside perspective, including its positioning, market proposition and organisational successes and challenges. A one-day offsite workshop, the digital strategy workshop aims to create cross-departmental ownership of the digital opportunity and build consensus among the senior leadership team regarding the company’s adoption of online platforms from social media through to CRM and business analytics tools. Spot On delivers a distillation of the workshop in a white paper document which summarises agreed policy, strategy moving forwards and recommended next steps.
